Dusting Off My Blog....

Planning on keeping track of my 2014 reading, so I need to dust off my blog, and start.  It's almost the end of January already, hard to believe.

I have a huge TBR pile for this year.  And, there are quite a few books that I'm looking forward to being released this year.

We're enjoying a "cold weather" snow day today.  So, we'll be staying in with books and tea/hot chocolate today.

October Reads....

I read 3 books from my list during the month of October.

Cookie Dough or Die by Virginia Lowell

Not bad for a busy month.  I'm reading Iced by Carol Higgins Clark at the moment. 

I always enjoy a trip to Darling, Alabama with Albert's wonderful characters.  I wasn't that thrilled with the latest in the Scumble River series by Swanson.  And, I really enjoyed the first book in the cookie cutter series by Lowell.  Actually, I wish that I had put the rest of the series on my list.  But, for now, I'm concentrating on reading what I have on my list.  All books that I've wanted to read for some time.

Being a book release Tuesday, I have 7 new books that have appeared on my Kindle Fire this morning.  Some of my favorite cozy mystery authors have new books out today.  Yeah!

2012 Cozy Mystery Challenge

Signing up for my third year of the Cozy Mystery Challenge. Can't wait until April 1! I'm going to put together a list of books that I'd like to read for the challenge in the next week or so. It seems like I always make a list, and than end up reading about half of the books that were never on my list though. Maybe this year will be different....probably not. :)

I loved #5 and #7, both the first in new series. I'm really hoping to see more books in each of these series. I was fortunate enough to go to a book signing for Denise Swanson and Casey Daniels/Kylie Logan. A fabulous way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
