Long Time, No Update

I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted.

I have been busy reading cozy mysteries for the challenge though. Here is the list of what I've read from January through August.

Buttercream Bump Off - Jenn McKinlay
Absolutely, Positively - Heather Webber
Tressed to Kill - Lila Dare
Polished Off - Lila Dare
Candy Apple Dead - Sammi Carter
Definitely, Maybe - Heather Webber
Murder at the PTA - Laura Alden
Night of the Living Dandelion -Kate Collins
Stirring Up Strife - Jennifer Stanley
A Fatal Slip - Melissa Glazer
Dead Air - Mary Kennedy
Finger Lickin' Dead - Riley Adams
Smokin' Seventeen - Janet Evanovich
Swingin' in the Rain - Eileen Davidson
The Darling Dahlias and the Naked Ladies - Susan Wittig Albert
Books Can Be Deceiving - Jenn McKinlay
Flowerbed of State - Dorothy St. James
How to Host a Killer Party - Penny Warner

I'll have a couple to post for September, but I'll wait until the end of the month for those. I'm not sure that I can choose one favorite from the above list, but I loved the Lila Dare series and Jenn McKinlay's new series too. I've already pre-ordered the next book in both of those series for my Kindle and can't wait to read them!

Now to make my reading list for the Fall into Reading 2011 challenge. So many books to choose from....

Snwoy, freezing weather...

Makes for great reading weather. I finished my first cozy mystery for 2011 this afternoon. I read Buttercream Bump Off by Jenn McKinlay, and loved it. The first book in the series, Sprinkle with Murder, was the best cozy that I read in 2010.

I think my favorite part is that the three main characters really seem to know each other, and I enjoy their witty banter throughout the book.

Off to pick out my next book!

Cruisin' thru the Cozies Reading Challenge...

I'm joining the reading challenge for 2011, so I started a new blog to keep it separate from my stitching blog.

My goals is: Level 3 Super Sleuth - Read 13 or more books

Reading 13 cozies from January to December, really shouldn't be much of challenge for me, but it will be great to keep track of what I read this year.
